Awesome fix for my airgun addiction!I was on the fence about diana new value line and this is my second my first being the diana chaser and I am even more excited about this one. Fit and finish are excellent for the money accuracy/power and a nice trigger outta the box. So far I've put a couple hundred rounds down range and it doesn't seem to be all that pellet picky at least not with the jsb weights I've tried,18gr,16gr air arms, 15.89gr USB,14.35gr,13.43gr and all under a loony at 26yard. I usually put a couple hundred rounds through all my new guns before I really try and put pellet on pellet and start ranging my scope and gun for various distances which to me is part of the fun of airguns. Airgun source is a excellent retailer and I can always count on them to take care of my airgun needs, thanks for everything.

so iam going to keep this short but detailed , i now have the .22 cal version of this rifle now i have not done a shot count but i have over 100 pellets thru it and still lots of co2 left so far I will have several videos on my youtube channel on this gun soon i have a few so far so check them out.. the screws on the barrel band needed to be tightened before shooting i always check the screws on all my guns before i shoot them and most of the time they are not tight thats just how it goes no matter the brand or gun type this is not a bad thing, alrigth then so the accuracy on this gun with open sites at 10 meters is great and even better with a scope it has plenety of power iam getting 9 fpe with 21 grain H&N barracudas with it and about 8 fpe with 14.5 grain RWS super point extras these are the 2 pellets thus far that gun the gun has choosen to run the best , i was shocked it really didnt go for the 16 grain predators.. i want to get the .22 cal hades for this and try them out as well fit and finish is great as it is with the .177 cal model as well , so we have an extreamly accurate and lots of power in this gun as well for a non pal shes pretty much right on the 500 fps max with 14.3 grain pellets tho it didnt like them it was a good speed test and 540 fps with 8.4 grain pellets best suited tho for 14.5 to 21 grain pellets shoots them the best as well. the bolt action is nice the adjustable trigger is very light as a factory setup and i like that .the price is also great to and well worth the money for either .177 or the .22 cal//. the .22 cal is very ideal for not only target pratice but also for small game and pest control.. i see no reason why you could not take out most small game with in 30 meters and more so if your game is birds .. with this .22 cal version... you get alot of shots for the 3 bottles that it takes to run the gun.. i cant give any product 5 stars because nothing is perfect as we know and 5 stars would be mean perfect so there you go but it does deserve 4 and 3/4 for sure.. i still think the barrel band needs to be mounted closer toward the front of the gun hopefully diana would see the wisdom to do that in future tho with the present setup its ok but it would be even more better if it was moved forward about 5 more inches would be ideal and best , any how kevys rc and music is my channel check it out and check out both the .177 cal and the .22 cal versions of this gun like i said there will be alot more videos comming on the both of them in the mean time click add to cart and get your self one these are great air rifles and get your self a selction of pellets to see which ones you diana likes as no 2 guns are the same ..

I have the .177 cal non pal version of this same rifle and i must say its extreamly accurate i have mine sited in at 13 yards and it seems so far to adore hades pellets 10.34 grain and 8 grain predator poly mags still trying to find a cheaper but still highly accurate pellet for the gun the .177 version non pal is foor for birds chipmuks and it can do squierls as well but only with in 13 yards anything past that is sure chance but for paper target and some of the restting targets its really good with ,, it uses 3 bottles of co2 and tho you might think thats alot well the shot count is amazing as well the fact that shot to shot over well over the first 100 shots is extreamly consistante its worth the 3 bottles at around 160 shots it dropped to 400 fps still very usuable but then it will start to drop off after that till your out of gas, i also should add i installed a leapers 3x12x40 AOE scope on it iam not one for open sites iam getting old LOL, it also has a very nice and vedry light trigger that is also fully adjustable,, the 9 shot mag that comes with it is very cool and easy to use as well and you can get extra mags to keep the fun going.. ok so for the bad points on this well there is only 1 big one and thats the cap seal is just a regual black oring and they do give you extras but it takes almost 48 hours for the oring to shrink again so it can be used youj want to invest in proper co2 grade level orings so you can avoid this problem diana needs to fix this one problem on the gun and it will be great.. you can also leave the gun full of co2 all the time and you wont hurt the gun at all. once the 3 bottle ignite they fill the tube up and equlize the pressure thruout the tube hence high shot count and constante from shot to shot + ot - 5 fps average the gun also will run in the 490s with 7.9 grain pellets .. again this review is for the .177 cal i did not find it on the website here so i wanted to post it on this one, i also very much would love to have the .22 cal version of this rifle as it would be alot better for pest and small game stuff iam sure but to know gota have one right.. diana has awlays made great airguns . to install a scope on this gun and the .22 cal version youll need to remove the rear site off the barrel bang it just taps off but you have to remove the screw and spring first before attempting to take off the rear site so thats the rear site screw.. one other thing make sure the barrel band screws are tight other wise you will get barrel vibration and that you dont want if you expect to have the gun shoot accurately.. well thats it ,, now to get me the .22 cal version and see how well it is then i can also doa one against the other comparesion video as well for youtube there is not alot on youtube on the trailscout but over time ill take care of having alot of videos on them they sure are nice guns ........
