Bought this over a year ago...stepping back from high dollar/high power airguns. I wanted something to plink around the cottage with that didn't require C02/compressed air. Most of all low maintenance.

It's held up to near daily use really well..with the usual wear and tear (scratches etc). The barrel is as straight as the day I pulled it out of the box and aside from changing out the scope recently everything else has remained the same.
Initially the accuracy frustrated me a little but it tightened up over time as it was broken in. The modest fps is just right for anything under 50 yards if you're pesting. Ive had chipmunks and squirrels chewing at wood/wiring and this is just right...it unloads most of it's energy right inside the pest instead of passing through..though that happens occasionally.

It's a sub 500 fps airgun and I'm sure it's really only around 400-450 fps on average unless you're using non-lead. A big difference from the USA model that I was used to but the pellets are less likely to tumble I've found.

It likes anything crosman..and JSB Exacts are better. I've tried Polymags (shorts) as well with good success.

Very good buy!

I just received mine today and put 70 shots through it so far. Bear in mind this is my first nitro piston rifle. The gun is very well made, it actually looks better than the pictures show. The scope works, I have already zeroed it and can hit a dime at 20 yards, it took alot of adjustment but I got it there. (using jsb hades pellets). the gun is very quiet, I actually think the sound of the pellet hitting the target was louder. no annoying "boing" sound like a spring rifle, very little recoil. for my first nitro, I am impressed. I know there are definately better models out there, but for a non PAL rated rifle and for what I paid for it I am very very happy with it and don't regret my purchase. I am very pleased with this rifle so far. Take my review with a grain of salt as I've only had it a day. This rifle is a keeper, if I have any problems I'd let everyone know, but I'm sure Crosman would make it right, being a big player in the airgun world.
