First impressions? Wow! Double Wow! These folks in Sweden sure know how to make a quality airgun! The Monte Carlo style walnut stock is absolutely gorgeous. Fit and finish perfect. The side lever cocking action is intuitive, light and smooth - definitely an improvement over it's predecessor the Streamline, and that's saying something! The Streamline is already the easiest and smothest cocking rifle in my collection. Side power adjustment is very easy to access and rotate. The Dreamline comes with one high capacity magazine, but will also accept the smaller capacity magazines from the Streamline. Higher scope mounts will be required for the larger magazine.
After picking up and handling the rifle for the first time, and similar to the Streamline, this is a very lightweight airgun indeed! The Dreamline seems well balanced and just feels right. I have yet to mount a scope which will add some weight and change the overall balance ...... hopefully not in a negative way. This rifle fills with HPA via a probe as opposed to a standard foster fitting. Main reservoir pressure gauge is on the end of the air cylinder with a secondary pressure gauge on the right hand side of the rifle, indicating regulated pressure.
My conclusion at this point in time is FX has hit another home run with this PCP rifle. Attention to detail is superb and value /quality for the dollar seems second to none. Very exciting indeed!
Cheers!
