This gun is a icon for so many reasons and I believe crosman knocked it outta the park with this gem. The fact is most people will do something to make your 2240 more accurate than stock and usually the first thing you change is the breach. Second is the pistol is rather loud and unfortunately in Canada there is not much we can do but in others you want a threaded barrel for moderators. Long story short crosman helped with the process and wala steel breach right from the start and if you factor in the cost of the gun and steel breach and shipping it is cost effective to just purchase the xl2240 .I love mine so much I purchased 2 one to turn into carbine and the other to leave as a pistol. If you're looking at getting yourself self a 2240 than don't think about it purchase this one today cause you never know how long this gem will be around.
